Surrounded by blues and evocative melodies, and mentored by his father, a respected blues guitarist, Michael was playing guitar by ten, developing a deep understanding of music's power. This early influence ignited his passion for electronic music at 13, launching a remarkable career built on resilience, innovation, and a profound love of sound.

His early years in the industry were defined by fierce independence and a drive to forge his own path. Undeterred by the challenges of the music world, he embarked on a personal quest, traveling and tirelessly promoting his music in Brixton, USB stick in hand. This period of exploration led to the creation of Solid Grooves, a brand and a movement reflecting Bibi's commitment to making his mark through sheer determination and the transformative power of music.

With popular underground tracks like “Different Side” and his 2018 “Got The Fire” EP, boasting over 25 million Spotify streams, Bibi has connected with a global audience. His rise has been punctuated by significant achievements, including a residency at the legendary Privilege, his enduring Solid Grooves residency at DC-10 Ibiza, a surprise sunset set at Glastonbury, and his award-winning remix of “La Murga,” which earned him DJ Mag’s best remix award in 2022.

In March 2023, Michael faced a life-altering challenge with a diagnosis of CNS Lymphoma, prompting deep introspection. His subsequent remission has instilled in him a renewed appreciation for life, a philosophy of living each moment to its fullest. This experience has not only shaped him personally but also strengthened his bond with his fans and the music community, who offered unwavering support throughout his journey.

Bibi's return to the world stage with the "One Life" World Tour is a celebration of life, resilience, and the joy of being present. 2024 is his year, marked by a powerful comeback performance at Coachella, where he delivered an inspiring 3+ hour set on the new Quasar Stage. This will be followed by a massive homecoming show at London’s Finsbury Park, set to be the city's largest electronic music event.
